About Jake Brown
Jake Brown knew when he was a kid he wanted to talk sports for a living. It’s been his dream to be an on-air personality on radio and TV. The journey began at Hofstra University, where he hosted a sports talk radio show on AM1240-WGBB on Long Island once a month, hosted shows and called games on WRHU and started covering NY sports for SportsRadioNY. Since then, he’s hosted shows on ESPN Radio New Hampshire, hosted various podcasts with CBS Radio’s Play.it Podcast Network, hosted a podcast on the Bleav Podcast Network and launched all the New York Post sports podcasts in 2019. He is the executive producer of sports podcasts at the NY Post.
Jake currently co-hosts “The Sick Podcast - Mets Magic” and “The Sick Podcast - Jets Flight Club” with Sick Media.
Jake produced nearly 1,000 episodes and co-hosted over 500 of them at the New York Post, where he launched the sports podcast network in October 2019, working there up through August 2024. Jake formerly co-hosted the NY Post’s Mets podcast “Amazin’ But True” with former Mets pitcher Nelson Figueroa. He also co-hosted their Jets podcast “Gang’s All Here” with beat writer Brian Costello. He’s co-hosted their Giants podcast “Blue Rush” with two-time Giants Super Bowl champion Lawrence Tynes and formerly co-hosted their Knicks podcast “Big Apple Buckets" with former Knicks big man Jerome” The Junk Yard Dog” Williams , Nets podcast “Fullcourt on Flatbush” with former Nets guard Kerry Kittles and Yankees podcast “Pinstripe Pod” with four-time Yankees World Series champion Jeff Nelson. Jake has produced all eight of The Post’s sports podcasts, including “The Show” with Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman.
